In the Coding Program students can ask instructors any questions directly about classes and assignments. Please note the coding course spaces are limited per school.
The Coding Program powered by Under the GUI, a co-developed computer programming class for children aged 7 up to teens. By getting “under” the interface, children learn about the processes that control it. As the developer of their game/program, our students have the opportunity to find their innovative potential through our curriculum as they progressively master their skills in Python, GML, C#, and C++ on the GMlegacy, Unity, Unreal, and Visual Studio engines.
We provide a rich and engaging environment that inspires children and teens to innovate, think critically, and create with technologies on the fringe of our hi-tech culture. Our teachers encourage students to expand their limitless creativity through the creation of video games, apps, and traditional software using the same tools used by professionals in the field.
My child has no prior coding experience, which level should they take?
In most cases, students start in the class most appropriate for their age. However some students may show exceptional prowess in technology and would be moved to the level most appropriate for their skill level.
What is the general overview of the curriculum?
